Maria Susana Barrera, age 66, of Chaparral, New Mexico passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Maria was born May 5, 1955 in Pueblo El Tizonazo, Durango, Mexico.

Maria is survived by daughter Julia Morales; son Pedro Morales; son Daniel Morales; daughter Annette Paloma Sanchez; daughter Angelina Cobos; daughter Susana Rojero; and son Jesus Morales; sister Graciela Cobos and sister Sara Cobos.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Jose Barrera; daughter Socorro Morales, daughter Yolandita Morales and son Juan Carlos Cobos.

Ms. Barrera also leaves behind to treasure her memory her 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She will join 4 of her grandchildren in Heaven along with her beloved husband, Jose Barrera, two daughters and son.

A memorial service for Maria will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938. Following the memorial service will be an inurnment at 12:00 PM at Desert View Cemetery, 450 E. Lisa Dr, Chaparral, NM 88081.
