M. Ybarra Rojas died peacefully in El Paso, Texas on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the age of 100. She was preceded in death by her husband Adolfo Huerta Rojas and daughter Irma Ybarra Rojas. Maria is survived by her daughters, Martha Rojas and Bertha Taylor; grandson, Eli, son, Daniel Rojas, and brothers Robert and Raymond Ybarra, of El Paso.

Private services will be held for her family and friends.
