Medardo (Lalo) Ortiz Jr., passed away on February 11, 2019 in El Paso, Texas. Medardo served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp, and retired after working with the El Paso Police Department. He also owned M.O. Investigations for many years.
Medardo is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Quintana Ortiz, Son, Medardo Ortiz III, and Daughter Virginia Ortiz. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Thursday February 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday February 15, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Santo Nino de Atocha, 210 S Clark Dr, El Paso, Texas 79905. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Military Honors.
