He is preceded in death by his father Lazaro Padilla, mother Ramona Padilla, sisters Esther Blount, Eva Santos, Irene Reynosa, Teresa Martinez, brother Xavier Francisco Padilla and infant brother Luis Padilla.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Josie Padilla, his daughters Belinda Padilla (grandson Diego Miguel Padilla) and Nora Padilla (Johnathan)(granddaughter Olivia Gonzalez, grandson Abram Gonzalez), his sisters Josie Herrera, Nellie Esquibel and brother Jose Luis Padilla.
Mike served in the United States Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. We would like to say Thank you to Dr. P. Valilis for his encouraging words during Mike’s cancer treatments, it helped more than you will know. Thank you to Dr. Mark Landeros, FACS for your amazing and endless care and dedication of our dad, you went above and beyond. Mike cared for you very much. Thank you to Envision Hospice and Home Care for this hospice journey and for allowing us to enjoy quality time with our father and husband.

A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
