Oscar “Robert” Olivas, 67, a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, was born July 25, 1949 to parents Jesus Olivas and Genoveva. He passed away November 22, 2016 after a long illness and is preceded in death by both his parents and Brother Saul. He is survived by his only loving Daughter Shonna (Mario), the love of his life Emma, Brothers Jesus and Jaime; and Grandsons Mario and Marco, Nieces Sarah, Sandy, Adriana, and Nephews Saul, Max, Jaime and Jesus. Oscar served for the USAF for 21 years and retired in 1992. He also worked for the Civil Service and had just retired in May 2016. Oscar enjoyed his work and had a great love of cars and spent most of his weekends working on them. He also enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Emma, his grandchildren, and his pets. Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home Central from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7pm vigil. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 1:15pm at St. Raphael Catholic Church followed by a 2:30pm interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
