

WOODHOUSE Patricia Ann Woodhouse passed away peacefully at her home August 16, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Throckmorton, TX, March 11, 1936, and later moved to Lubbock, TX, where she graduated from Lubbock High School. She attended Texas Tech University, where she received a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. in Education. She taught in Lubbock, Abilene, and finally El Paso, TX. Patricia was a long time teacher at El Paso I.S.D, where she retired after 37 years of teaching many students in the El Paso area. Pat continued her teaching career in Gadsden I.S.D. until 2001, when she became a full time grandmother. She was an active member at First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, VBS teacher, and was involved in Rebecca's Circle. She was a generous, kind, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was also an inspiration and positive influence on countless students she taught throughout her life. Thanks is expressed to all the doctors, nurses and staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center, especially Dr. Robert Bast and Mary Hernandez. The family also wishes to thank Texas Oncology, specifically Dr. Chesbro and Dr. Herrada, Providence ICU nurses and Hospice El Paso, as well as Hospitality Apartments, Houston, TX. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Merle Noles, father Talmadge Noles, and brother Kenneth Noles. She is survived by her daughters, Ginger Lamberty and husband Dennis, Cindy Norton and husband Joe, grandchildren Thomas, Jack, and Abby Norton, husband Pete Woodhouse and his children Mark, Jeff and Monica Woodhouse and families, brothers LA Noles and wife Alathia, Jimy Noles and wife Kaye, Teddy Noles and wife Carolyn, sister Betty Viney and husband Charlie, sister-in-law Totsy Noles, and many dear nieces and nephews. She was adored by her grandchildren, who loved playing with their Gram and listening to her stories. Pat's constant strength and encouragement is her legacy and will remian with her family forever. A memorial service will be held Saturtday, August 21, 11 am, at First Presbyterian Church, 1340 Murchison, El Paso, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Robert C.
