Ricardo Appelzoller

Ricardo was born on 6/12/1943 in Juarez Mexico and passed away in El Paso Texas on 11/8/2025. He was a proud graduate of the class of 1964 from Bowie High School OSO, OSO, OSO! He served in the United States Air Force from 1964 - 1968, he attended the University of Texas at El Paso from 1968 - 1971.

Ricardo is survived by his brother Jose Antonio Appelzoller. Children Robert Appelzoller (Spouse Dumayra Appelzoller) Annette Appelzoller (Spouse Martin Terrazas) Alexander Appelzoller and Velma Gonzalez (Spouse Elias Gonzalez). Grandchildren Danya Appelzoller, Sabina Appelzoller, Daisy Appelzoller, Nicholas Appelzoller, Angel Appelzoller, Bruce Appelzoller, Alexander Appelzoller II, Christopher Appelzoller, Annalyse Appelzoller, Savannah Appelzoller, Savannah Garcia, Isaac Springer and Nathaniel Springer. Great Grandchildren Jaspar Martin, Sadie Martin, Josiah Garcia. Pallbearers will be Robert Appelzoller, Jacob Appelzoller, Alexander Appelzoller, Alexander Appelzoller II, Christopher Appelzoller and Bruce Appelzoller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jose Antonio Appelzoller and Daniel Rodarte.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:30 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 408 Park St. El Paso, Texas 79901; with burial to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd. El Paso, Texas 79906, with military honors.
