We will always remember the day we shared with you in your marriage ceremony. We met Richie family and enjoyed that day very much. We are sharing now the loss and pain with you in distance. But no distance can stop our thoughts of love, comfort and peace we are sending your way.  May Richi Rest In Peace knowing the love he left on Viviana and Lety will go on with him on their side… love and strength from Lety’s family to Richie’s family. 

Uncle Richie will be missed by all.  We love you Tia Yuyu and we love Vivi ❤️

We are so deeply sorry for the loss of my brother-in-law Richie, he is leaving behind my little sister Lety and my beautiful niece Viviana, who were so close knitted as a family as it can possibly be. We are mourning your loss with all you through the distance and in spirit, hoping to give a little bit of comfort and hope for a brighter day tomorrow. To my sister Lety and my niece Viviana, the strength you will need to overcome this loss will be monumental, but in time, you will cherish his company again. In time, in distance, in spirit, love always survives. ❤️ 

My Dad was the coolest Dad I could ever ask for and my best friend. He was always there for me and able to talk about everything. He used to call me "Shaker" all the time and I always loved it because it made me feel special. He loved me with all of his heart and I will always love him. I will miss you so much Dad.😪

Correction...we met in 1993. It still seems like just yesterday. I have two memories I would like to share. When we were 18 years old, Rick had a job interview, and he asked his sister to trim his hair with the clippers. Well next thing I know, he runs into the room and has the most freaked out look on his face. She had forgotten to put the guard on the clippers. I tried so hard not to laugh, but I couldn't help it. Needlessly to say, he got the job at Delphi where he worked for many years. 
 The second memory I would like to share because it will forever make me laugh is when we were 20 and had just moved into our second apartment. Rick was excited and wanted to buy a grill. We had people over, and he grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Later that night, I woke up to flashing lights through our window. I looked out and sure enough,  there was a firetruck and huge flames coming out of the dumpster. I knew immediately what had happened. I woke Rick up and asked him what he did with the charcoal. He said he threw it away. I asked him if he put water on it first to make sure it was completely off. He said he didn't need to. So I told him to look out the window. Again...the look on his face was priceless. That dumpster was replaced about a week later. Good times, Rick. 

Rick and I met in Spanish class at Austin High School when I was 16 and he was 17 (1994). He loved to sing, dance, play basketball, football, softball, go on unplanned vacations, have a good time with family and friends, and always worked very hard. He loved the Indianapolis Colts, New York Yankees, Duke, and the Boston Celtics. I will forever be thankful and cherish the wonderful ten years of memories we had together. Thank you for my three most precious gifts in life: Ricky, Matthew,  and Valerie. My sincere condolences to his wife, Lety, his daughter, and family. May you be resting in eternal peace, Rick. 

Richy was an excellent husband for 14 years and the best father I could ever ask to my daughter Viviana, which is only 13 years old. We were a small but very close family. Our hearts are heartbroken and with a lot of pain. You left this world, but not our hearts. There are no words to describe our sadness and emptiness in our hearts right now. I honor our life together by focusing on the joy we shared and all the beautiful memories we built over the years. Our was a great love story that we will continue together some day, so please wait for me on the other side sweetie. I love you and I will forever.

Te mando un abrazo muy fuerte con mucho cariño para ti y tus peques, se que en estos momentos tan dolorosos no te llega mensaje alguno, pero ten por seguro que tu Richie ya está junto a Dios y seguirá de tu mano con mucho amor hablándote dentro de tu corazón y el de sus hijos tan amados .  Te quiero mucho Lety y estoy contigo...   UN ABRAZOTE DE CORAZÓN 💟 ❣
