Loving wife, mother, and granny Rosario Maya (Rose) went home to our heavenly father on a most blessed day, Good Friday, April 15, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born in Marfa, TX where she graduated from Marfa High School then moved to El Paso, Texas. Her first job in El Paso was with Falstaff Brewing and Toy & Novelties. For many years she helped her husband run the family business, Eastwood Business Machines. Upon retiring she was a volunteer for the El Paso Democratic Party.
She is survived by her loving son, John Maya, daughter-in-Law, Terrie Maya and grandson, John Joseph Maya.
She is now reunited with her parents, Jose and Filomena Bustamante, her loving husband, Juan Maya and her joy of her life, son, Joseph Glenn (Butch). She is also reunited with her sister and brother-in-law Ana and Ismael Tercero Sr.
She will be greatly missed but will forever live in our hearts.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be at St. Raphael Church, 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Texas. 79925 at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, May 4th. She will be laid to rest at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
Pallbearers: John Joseph Maya, Chuck Flores, David Duarte, Bob Omspaugh, Christopher Gamboa and Ethan Castro.
