She was born on September 15, 1947, in Ragasthan, India to Annie and Frank Brady.
On October 12, 1974, she married the love of her life, Gordon Tremenheere, and they welcomed their first born daughter, Vanessa Tremenheere in June, 1975. As a family of 3 and with Edna Tremenheere (mother-in-law) they traveled to America to make a new life in 1980. Shortly after, she welcomed daughters Melissa, May 1982, and Priscilla, August 1983.
Sheila found work as a financial aid officer with the University of Texas at El Paso, where she would spend the next 18 years and eventually retire. Following her retirement from UTEP, Sheila continued her career as a loan officer for another small school for several more years. Upon her official retirement from work, Sheila spent her time traveling with her husband, Gordon, and spending time as “Nana” to her grandsons, Landon and Maddox whom she absolutely adored and whom brought her so much joy and laughter. Sheila also was a member of the Rosary Alter Society at her church, Most Holy Trinity and a devote Catholic. She spent weekends at church and participated in church events with the close friends she made.
Throughout her life, Sheila was known for her enthusiasm, outgoing nature, her love to entertain others, her faith and devotion to GOD, her strong will, love for her family and friends and she left memories with everyone whom she encountered. Sheila found joy in cooking entertaining friends and family, traveling, family traditions, knitting, and church events and especially treasured time spent with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
In her last year of life on Earth, Sheila was faced with a diagnosis of stomach cancer and would endure treatments that would truly challenge her but she never lost faith and her will to survive despite her chances. She was preceded in death by her loving good daughter, Vanessa Bardaweel and the love of her life and husband of 46 years, Gordon Tremenheere.
She is survived by her daughters Melissa, (Shawn) and Priscilla, her sister Phyllis, her son-in-law Emad and grandsons, Landon, Maddox and bonus granddaughter, Sienna whom will forever cherish her love, generosity, guidance, support, and memories.
Her unconditional love, unwavering support and faith-filled life will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and walking with God.
