

Stephen Jay Novak, aged 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 25th, at home in Canutillo Texas. He was born on November 22 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Maureen Savage Novak and Ervin Jay Novak. His older sister is Kathleen Novak Dooley and younger brother is Charles Timothy Novak (Barb Gibbs). The entire family were proud residents of El Paso Texas during the children's High School years at Eastwood High School in the early 1970's.
Stephen always used "Jay" as his nickname. Jay was never married and did not have any children. Jay was a man of many talents. Jay was a drummer in the Eastwood High School Band. Out of High School he worked in the mines near Magdalena New Mexico where his Construction, Heavy Equipment Operation, and Certified Welding skills were essential talent. Jay drove cross country US Mail for many years before moving to Riverside California. In Riverside Jay had a shop that built performance cars and boats using his fabrication and auto mechanic expertise. Jay was also known for his many original design ideas for tooling and architectural products.
Jay moved back to Canutillo, Texas in his late 50's. Jay was a God loving religious man.
