My mother was the most forgiving, selfless, generous and happy person I have ever known. She used to love to celebrate everything but I never saw her take a drink of alcohol or smoke a single cigarette. She was always so happy at partes and celebrations. She took my entire kindergarten class dressed in Halloween costumes to an ice cream parlor for my 5th birthday. She loved to load all of her children up and go camping in her Volkswagen bus. She was a dedicated den mom for my brothers when they were in the cub scouts. She took care of both my grandparents at different times when when them became ill. She dedicated her life to them until their very last days..She was there with each of them when they took their last breath. She took my grandfather for long car rides when he could no longer walk and always found time to listen to all of his stories in there entirely. When my daughters were little she would change her entire work schedule to be available to pick up my girls from daycare on the days that I couldn’t. When I worked graveyards and James was at work, I would come home to find her asleep in the morning still standing over Kayla’s crib. She spoiled both my girls rotten and drove them all over El Paso always looking for a new adventure. She was always buying them more toys than they could ever use. I could write a book on the unselfish acts of my sweet mother.
I hope I can be as understanding and patient with my children when they are adults and busy with their own lives. She was always so understanding and grateful when I would do the smallest thing and stop by for only a minute. She always had a smile and would say how grateful she was for all of my help when I never felt like I did enough.., there was never enough time ... so many things I have to be thankful for and so many wonderful memories.

Cinda and Cene, I am so sorry to learn about the loss of your dear mother. I have so many fond memories of our childhood and her. She was striking with her beautiful blue eyes and black hair. I remember how she taught me to get every bit of gas from the fuel pump by lifting the hose way up when the pump stopped. I do this to this day! Still think about you!

Dear family,
My deepest condolences go out to your family, I will miss Suzanne or Suzy as she liked to be known, we corresponded by writing mostly, although we lived close enough to visit, when I used to shop at the Sam's Club at Cielo Vista, I always looked forward to seeing her and getting a hug as she checked my receipt, I haven't been that Sam's Club since she left, I pray that God's loving hand will comfort all of you at this time of sorrow.
