Terri, Jessie and Jimmy, Our deepest condolences to you. We met Licha over 50+ years ago working at Rocky Mountain.  We have so many great memories of her. The Crazy Company Christmas Parties, Friday Night Bowling League, Company Baseball league (where she was our star pitcher for many years) and our after work outings to El Padrinos😉. Well where can I start, Velma was a lovely and caring person. When you needed a shoulder to lean on she was there. Velma and I only knew the ups and downs we’ve been through in life. Remembering the time, I participated on a bet on the Cowboys football team. Yes I lost, I had to wear a tutu skirt & dance to work. Boi did I have her laughing for days! Velma, you will missed, my deepest condolences to all your family.

My deepest condolences to the Hernandez family during this tremendous loss. Velma was a beautiful soul and I had the pleasure of knowing her and working with her at TenderCare . Her fun spirit and love for her Dallas Cowboys  will be missed tremendously and she was always up for a good time . May you rest in peace my dear friend until we meet again. Please accept my deepest condolences. It is heartwarming to see her pictures that are posted of happy memories of her. I will always remember that Halloween costume event at work, where she was fully dressed in her Spanish Lady Día de los Muertos costume. I will never forget that day when she turned to me and gave me the biggest smile. She was clearly loved and cherished by her Tender Care Home Health family, and her presence will be greatly missed. May her soul rest in peace, and may her family find comfort and strength during this difficult time.

Boi did we have fun during Halloween! Velma was such a good sport and she will forever be missed.

Velma was fun to work with, was always there to listen and a very genuine person. Just don’t mess with her Cowboys then everything will be good.
