Donald James Meyers, born on January 10, 1938, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Otto and Ida Meyers, passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 88. Donald and his wife Dolly moved to Sorrento, Florida, in 2001 from Pittsburgh. He retired from AT&T / Bell Corporation, where he worked as an Installer. A proud USAF Veteran, Donald dedicated part of his life to serving his country. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolly, and their two daughters, Debbie Hajduk of Sorrento, FL, and Denise (David) Murray of Sorrento, FL. Donald was also a loving grandfather to two granddaughters, Summerlyn and Kennedy. An active member of his community, Donald was a member of St. Andrews Chapel in Sanford, FL. Donald will be laid to rest at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis.
