Shirley Ann Marquette, born on November 24, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 91. Shirley was known for her honesty and was a devoted member of Clermont United Methodist Church. Shirley was born to the late Morris and Ida Slavin. She and her late husband moved to Lake County in 2000 after living many years in Deerfield Beach, FL. She is survived by her son, Mark Marquette(Julie Smithgall) of Tavares, Florida; her daughter, Denise Marquette of Celebration, Florida; her twin brothers, Leo and Larry Priebe, both residing in Chicago, Illinois; and three grandsons, Brandon, Mark and Austin. A graveside service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, on February 9, 2026, at 10:00 am. Shirley's presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
