Viola S. Alberson

Viola S. "Bebe" Alberson, age 101, passed away on March 10, 2026. She was born on March 8, 1925, in Groveland, Florida to the late Henry and Carrie Sheppard, she was a lifelong resident of Central Florida. Bebe worked for many years as a receptionist for Golden Gem Growers in Umatilla and was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Eustis. A devoted and cherished member of her family, she is survived by her granddaughter, Carol (Greg) Link; two great-grandsons, Jared (Brittany) Mahair and Logan (Jenna) Porter; great-great-granddaughter, Lindy Lee; and three nieces, Sandy Hupp, Megan Tart, Deborah (Glynn) Wallace; nephew, Mark (Melanie) Sheppard. She is also survived by her step-son, Mike (Becky) Alberson; step-daughter, Beth (Claude) Pennacchia; and numerous step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Bebe was preceded in death by her husband, William A. “Bill” Alberson; her son, Curtis Sutphin; her daughter, Sharon Low; her step-daughter, Linda Wiley. A celebration gathering will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10:00 - 12:00 PM.
