William Roland James, 33, of Clarksville, Virginia, passed away on February 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 27, 1993, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

William was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Elektra James. She was the center of his world, and his love for her was unwavering. His legacy will continue to live on through her life.

He is survived by his loving parents, Douglas James and Donna W. James; his sister, Lynn (Jason); his nieces, Sabrina and Grace; and his nephews, Nicholas, Kaleb, Mason, and Mika. He also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

William was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, often bringing laughter and comfort to those around him. He enjoyed gaming and valued the connection and camaraderie it brought into his life. A proud sports fan, he cheered for the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Pittsburgh Steelers, sharing his enthusiasm and team spirit with those around him.

He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and was recognized in a Who’s Who honor society, reflecting his character, dedication, and commitment during his younger years.

He will be remembered for his loyalty, strength, and deep love for his family and friends. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging to those fortunate enough to know him.

Services for a celebration of life will be announced.

His memory will live on in the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the lives he touched.
