Aletha C. Martin

Aletha was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, attended St. Paul’s United Church of Christ on West Michigan Street and had worked at Lerner’s Department Store for 10 years.

Surviving are her nephew, Ray (Sharon) O’Neal; niece, Sandra (Dale) Cowan and her brother’s children, Amy and Mark.

Aletha was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edwin Martin in 2005; her parents, Gustave and Margaret Winternheimer and a brother, Harvey Winternheimer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
