

Donald was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Sears in 1988 after 30 years.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ on Michigan Street. He also was a member of the R-Men's Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Donald is survived by his wife of 61 years, Verna, the love of his life; daughters, Janie Cummings and husband, Bob and Judy Fluty and husband, Robin all of Evansville; grandsons, Donnie (Jessica) and Brett (Katie) Cummings, Seth and Trent (Ashley) Fluty; great granddaughters, Payton, Makenna, Claire, and Chloe Cummings and one great grandson on the way; brothers, Ralph "Bill" Hudson (Joyce) of Cadiz, KY and Gene W. Hudson (Bonnie) of Evansville; several nieces and nephews; and neighbor and friend, Mark Goebel.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lynn Marino and Rev. Jeff Long, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and Wednesday, from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
