Katherine Estelle Collins Jones

She was of the Baptist Faith. She spent most of her young life living in Union County, KY, moving to Evansville, in her late 30's. She enjoyed reading, hummingbirds, plants, dancing and playing cards with friends. She enjoyed her family the most.

Estelle was preceded in death by her first husband, Rufus Gibson; second husband, Melvin Marshall; third husband, Johnnie B. Jones; brother, Otis A. Collins, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Faith James.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Dolly) Gibson, Gerald (Ruth) Gibson, Gary (Brenda) Gibson and Johnnie "Bob" (Jenny) Jones, Jr.; daughters, Shirley Huber and Sondra Swango; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Bro. Rick O'Daniel, with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue.
