Linda Wright, 56, of Evansville at 10:58 pm, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital.

Linda was born March 19, 1958 in Evansville and was a 1976 graduate of Reitz High School. She enjoyed movies, the theater, and gardening and was an excellent cook. Memories of Linda will live on forever due to her sparkling personality and strong nature. She will be remembered often by her family and friends with smiles, laughter and love.

She is survived by daughter, Jaime Hoskins (Daniel) of Evansville, sons, Jeremy Rakestraw (Marissa) and Robert Hyneman, both of Evansville, father, Lawrence “Larry” Brumitt of Evansville, sister, Sherri Gibson (Michael) of Evansville, brother, Scott Brumitt of Evansville and grandchildren, Nevaeh Talleyrand, Naulin Hoskins, Sayla Vanway and Ivonnah Mhango.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Brumitt.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Evansville.

Friends may call from 10 am until time of service at 1 pm, Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
