

Robert "Bob" L. Greenfield, 79, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born January 29, 1938, in Evansville, to the late James A. and Esther Carolina (Niehaus) Greenfield.
He was a 1956 graduate of Central High School. He was a police officer for the Evansville Police Department for 20 years, seven of which he spent has the Harrison High School Officer Liaison. Bob also worked for Mead Johnson for ten years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and was president of the Retired Police and Firefighters Association. He loved to play golf and was a part of the Miller Light and Mead Johnson Golf Leagues.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
He is survived by his soulmate, Tammie Seats; son, Robert Greenfield; daughter, Andrea Ferrell; brother, Ron (Ginger) Greenfield; grandson, Corey Greenfield; granddaughter, Sunny Greenfield; Tammie's son, Adam Seats; Tammie and Bob's grandson, Colton Seats; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services were held 11:00 Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends visited Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
