Twyla D Miller

Twyla was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on October 13, 1927 to the late Sadie Victoria (Montgomery) and Hugh Earl Buchanan, Sr. She was a stay at home mom when her children were young. The Miller House was the hub for many childhood activities. Twyla later worked at Lib's Candies for 20 years. She was an active member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ where she served as secretary and enjoyed making candy for the church booth during the Fall Festival. Twyla was an excellent cook, a good baker and enjoyed crocheting, word search and jigsaw puzzles.

Twyla is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Kramer (Curt) of Winamac, IN, Linda Kaelin of Evansville, IN; son, John Miller (Nancy) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Nicole Spence (Grandon), grandchildren, John Kramer (Amy), Cory Miller (Caitlin), Kyle Miller (fiance', Erika Knight), Kelsey Miller (fiance', Alex Jenison), Brandon Kaelin (Amanda); great grandchildren, Kale, Shae and Cash Spence, Sophia and Jordyn Kramer, Landon Miller, Alix and Xander Kaelin.

Twyla was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Phillip J. Miller in 2011; a brother, Hugh Earl Buchanan, Jr. and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 with Rev. Art Christmas officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home.
