Friends from childhood become even more precious the older we become.  The years and distance may have separated us, but we are always in each others hearts and memories.  Alan and his sister Cathy were two of my best friends growing up.  I was able to see him when he was in the hospital in Everett last year.  We picked up where we left off so many years ago.  I will miss and remember  you for the rest of my life, Alan.
