Allalee “Louise” Fleming, 86, passed away peacefully in her Everett, Washington home on December 23, 2025. Born on March 24, 1939, in Boise, Idaho, to William Jesse Corn and Mary Blanche Nelson, she and her brother were later adopted and raised by Kenneth and Hallie Anne Hannaman.
After graduating from high school, Louise set out from Idaho on a journey that took her across the country, living in California, Michigan, and Connecticut before finally settling in Washington.
A dedicated and tireless worker, Louise spent her career as a waitress. She was a fixture at some of Seattle’s most iconic establishments, including the Dog House and The Mecca Café. Her coworkers and patrons alike will remember her for her unwavering loyalty and her trademark friendly smile.
In her younger years, Louise was a bowler and loved puzzles, painting, board games, and traveling with friends. More recently, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life: a game of bingo or cards, CSI and crime shows, soap operas, an occasional trip to play the slot machines, and, most importantly, time spent with those she loved.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a reserved and quiet person with a positive outlook on life. Louise is survived by her four children: Denise Wehrli (Boese), Joe Boese, Diane Callahan (Fleming), and Leslie Petersen (Fleming). She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren: Abigail, Jonny, Christine, Susan, Deanna, Philip, Debra, Sydney, Connor, Celeste, and Lauren, as well as many beloved great-grandchildren. Her legacy of hard work and kindness lives on through her family and the many friends she made throughout her life.
