Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Mary Albanese, Joe Valento and Connie Folino.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond; her daughters, Lisa Newell (Vernie), Sandra Sargent, Denise Schindler (Michael), Rose Sargent, and Kelly Macula (Donald); her 9 grandchildren, Lindsay, Tessa, Elijah, Austin, Alexis, Carson, Sammy, Hailey and Joey; her 5 great grandchildren, Riley, Khloe, Arianna, Juliet and Emma; many nieces and nephews, and Mister.
Ann married the love of her life, Raymond on January 16, 1965. Raymond's Naval career took them to the East Coast, away from her family in Seattle for many years. As much as she missed them all, Ann had a way of creating strong and close bonds with other military families. During Raymond's many deployments throughout his Naval career, Ann was the most loving mother and father to their girls.
Ann had a great love for her family. When they moved back to the West Coast after Raymond's retirement, Ann was so happy to be close to her family once again. She had a great way to show her love to everyone...FEED THEM! She made the best Pasta and Meatballs every Sunday. She made so much food that her nearby neighbors stopped making dinner on Sunday's because they knew Ann would be sending them her leftovers by 6:00 PM. If she knew your favorite dinner, she was more than happy to make it for you.
Ann wasn't the best poker player but playing with her siblings all night long was something she loved to do. And she might not have known everything about WWE or football, but that didn't stop her from hollering “get’em” at the TV. She was hollering right alongside her family...her favorite place to be.
Ann loved spoiling her girls, but more so, she loved spoiling her grandchildren. And in return, they filled her heart with unmeasurable love and joy.
Ann will be greatly missed by all that loved her!
Arrangements under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home, Everett, WA.
