

Carole Marie Rich, 75, of Paulden Arizona passed away at Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington on August 11th, 2016 at 1:30 am. She was born January 7, 1941 to Carl Ingwall and Asbjorg Elfrida Baglo in Trail, B.C. Canada, and was raised in the Burnaby/Vancouver, BC area. Carole achieved her LPN nursing license beginning her nursing career in Vancouver, BC. Carole came to the United States in 1962 and continued her nursing career in San Francisco and later moved to Oahu, Hawaii working in the Emergency Room at Queens Hospital in Honolulu Hawaii. In January 1964, Carole married Eugene S. Rich Jr. (S/SGT US MC) on Oahu, Hawaii a few months after they met on Waikiki Beach. Carole obtained her U.S. citizenship in 1967. They raised one daughter, and three sons. Carole was blessed with many grand and great grandchildren. Carole and Eugene lived in Waikiki and Makakilo, HI; Oceanside, CA; Houston and New Caney, TX; Everett, WA; Phoenix, Chino Valley, and Paulden, AZ; Hot Springs Village Arkansas. Carole enjoyed bingo, water aerobics, bowling, and was very creative as an artist with everything she touched. Carole knew no strangers. All that were lucky enough to have conversation with her, found a new friend. She will be missed by all that knew her and especially by those that loved her.
Carole is survived by her husband Eugene S. Rich Jr; one daughter, Susan L. Jess (Troy); three sons, Eugene S. Rich III (Christine), James H. Rich (Laurie), and Daniel W. Rich (Erin); grandchildren, Eugene S. Rich IV (Jordan), Krystal A. Rich (Douglas), Kayla Martinez (Mikey), Kendra Restivo (Justin), Brittney Dizon (Paul), Chelsey Reynolds, Madisen L. Rich, Tanner O. Rich; and many great grandchildren. Carole is also survived by one sister Laurie Janzen (Hank); two brothers, Brian Baglo and Richard Baglo (Dallas); and many nieces and nephews.
