Chommany “Tui” Thongkhanh was born on July 2, 1967 in Savanaket, Laos and peacefully passed away on January 2, 2021 in Everett, Washington. Chommany, who was known as Tui, by many of his family and friends, worked as a skilled pressman at Labels West Co. for over thirty years. Tui had lived in Western Washington for over thirty years. He was always found laughing & smiling, and almost always goofing off and was known to be very friendly and always loved striking up a conversation about anything. Tui was a great husband, father, and friend. He loved being out and about and staying active. His favorite pastimes included being out in the soccer field, practicing his golfing skills and being out in the courses, practicing playing with his keyboard piano and blasting music, exploring different sights with his family and friends, traveling and finding new trails and hikes, hanging out and spending time with his buddies, and was always looking forward to the next fun adventure. Tui also was a prominent member in the Laotian community in the Seattle area and was known to always be helpful. He was a well known member at his local Buddhist temple, Wat Buddharam as well. There was always something new planned his way and he absolutely loved life and everything there was to offer. Tui leaves behind his wife, La Thongkhanh; his daughter, Jolina Thongkhanh; and his son, Justen Thongkhanh. The family will have a private funeral service on January 9, 2021 at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery (4504 Broadway, Everett WA 98203). Those who will be attending in person must wear masks and respect social distancing while in the Evergreen Funeral Home. As well as a private funeral service, there will be a live and public webcasting on January 9, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery.
