I had the pleasure of working with Jim in the 80's when he took over C.Vans..he was one of the best people I ever knew,and I learned a lot from him on how to treat people..nothing but fond memories of him and those C.Vans days..condolences to Rhoda and family.

Jimmy will be missed by all the members of FRA Branch 170. Jimmy let the branch 170 use his red cadilac in the 4th of July parade last year. we asked him several times to drive it but he refused (not wanting any personal recognision) to be part of the parade. That is the kind of man Jimmy was. The red cadilac was one of the best attractions of the parade and got a lot of comments. Thanks for the ride Jimmy.

So very sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing.  I will always remember his singing, his love for the Hawks and the Dawgs....I know he will be cheering for them in heaven.  Rest in peace Jimmy.

Jimmy was such a wonderful person, he touched many people in his lifetime and will be greatly missed.  I will never forget how much he enjoyed it when I sang "Crazy" at Karaoke or how he cried when I gave him a homemade birthday card!  He was a joy to know and will have a place in my heart forever.  Thank you for letting me part of your life.

Jimmy will be missed by alot of us at Club 170. Only knowing him for a short while, my favorite memory will be him turning a chair around and sitting on it backwards and cheering the horses on, and yelling at the dice. Saturday night at the races won't be the same. Rest in Peace Jimmy.

Our condolences and grievence goes out to you and family members. I Will alweays cherish the fond memories we had with Jimmy at Club 170. I myself will also cherish in my heart the memories of when we worked together at Frontier Bank, At Bud"s resturant where i first recall meeting such a great human being. Jim left a permanent image in my mind and heart of a wonderful, funny, and gracious man. I will always think of him as a big part of my childhood. God Bless his family, and may he rest in peace.

I remember all the fun we had with Jimmy at Buds cafe.I worked there all through hi school. Rest in peace.

We were so shocked and saddened by Jimmy's passing. He was such a sweet man and presence at the Club 170. We may live in Colorado now, but still think of him and Rhoda as well as everyone else there. 28 years ago my son, who was about 12, was home sick and I had to go in to work.  I called Jim at C Vans and asked him if could get some chicken noodle soup to Aaron.  He took the soup, some crackers, 7-up and cookies down the few blocks to our house. I could not believe it when Aaron called and told me. To this day, when I drive by C-Vans, I have such fond memories of both Claude and Jim. Rest in peace dear friend. Hope there is a bright green cadillac up there in heaven. Anne, Violet and family. My prayers are with you. I remember how great it was growing up on Hoyt with all the wonderful neighbors. I was just thinking of Claude, Jimmy, Bruce, Mike, Joe & Jerry the other day.

I have great memories of working with Jim at C Van's Grocery in the 50's.  He was always upbeat and a great encouragement and a fine example of super service!
