June Annette Smith

violin in orchestra and sang in the choir. She married Ivan Elliott and was later divorced. She was married to Oliver Smith until his death.

June graduated from North Seattle Community College. She retired from the City of Seattle Comptroller's Office after a long career there.

She love singing and was a member of the Seattle Runeberg Chorus and the Seattle Finnish Choir. She was a member of the Swedish Finn Historical Society,

where she served as treasurer for many years. She loved to read and travel.

June truly loved her family, who loved her and will greatly miss her. She is survived by her daughter Sonja Smith and sons Dennis Elliott and Windell Smith,

grandchildren Andrea, Steven, Jovoni, Nichelle, Chante, Chanel, Mikell, Laniyah, and Seth. She is also survived by sisters Betty Jane Wright and Lisa Gehrke and

brother Ed Sebbas, as well as 9 nephews and one niece, numerous cousins in Canada, Sweden and Finland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Smith, and her parents, Eddie and Lea Sebbas.

Services are planned for September 30, 2017, at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway St., Everett, WA 98203, with viewing at 1:00pm, service at 2:00pm.
