

Katherine Elsie (Albee) Harris

Katherine Elsie (Albee) Harris, 81, departed her home of 58 years in Tulalip, Washington, to enter heaven on Monday, July 8, 2024, after bravely battling cancer.
Katherine graduated from Bellingham High School in 1960 and married Robert Allen Hartman in September of the same year. They had four children together: David, Daniel, Rondel, and Sherri. Katherine later married Irving Harris, welcoming two more children, Jamie and Jennifer.
Katherine loved dancing, particularly square-dancing, and raised her children on a small farm, spending many days riding horses on mountain trails. She had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, and cherished her time fishing on the water. Katherine spent most of her career in the manufacturing industry, including boat building, and concluded her professional journey at Boeing.
Katherine is survived by her brothers, Melvin (Rena) Albee and Charles Albee, her sons: David (Lorrie) Hartman, Daniel Hartman, Rondel (Michaeline) Hartman, and daughters: Sherri (Brad) Pritchard, Jamie (Joe) Harris, and Jennifer Harris. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tyler (Kristina) Hartman, Christopher (Hanna) Hartman, Kyle (Jessica) Hartman, Samantha Hartman, Cody Hartman, Taylor (Cody) Wood, Katey (Matt) Haskins, Melissa Wieland, Tess (Tad) Halbert, Christina (Ryan) Baker, Andrew (Joslyn-Jade) Pritchard, Owen (Jade) Fogelstrom, and Logan Fogelstrom, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Leamon Albee and Dora Mae (Nickles) Harkness, her grandson Casey Bradshaw Pritchard, and her nephew Judd Lehi Albee.
Katherine was a gentle soul, dearly loved by all who knew her. Services will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery on August 5, 2024, at 12:00 noon, followed by a reception at Stillaguamish Pioneer Hall.
