Ken was born on August 7, 1965, in San Jose, California to Geraldine Patricia Armstrong and Kenneth Oliver Armstrong. He was preceded in death by both parents and his dog Zach.
Ken was a man of few words but his larger-than-life personality permitted him the confidence to speak his mind without reserve. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his wife Susan his family, and his dog Tyler, whom he adored. He enjoyed adventures to Lake Tahoe, vacations on the beach, target shooting, golfing and the occasional paintball event.
As a graduate from Branham High School in San Jose CA in 1984, Ken worked hard at his trade as an electrician for The Boeing Company for almost the past decade. In addition to his wife Susan and her parents, Ken is survived by his step-son, Ryan Powell of San Diego, CA; 4 Cousins, Tino Cecilio of Lynnwood, WA Julianne Cecilio of Everett, WA, Mark Cecilio of Burlingame, CA and Jerry Cannon of Newcastle, CA; as well as his aunt Dianne Cecilio of Ballard, WA and his aunt and uncle Roxanne and Jerry Cannon of Rockwall, TX.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery 4504 Broadway Everett, WA. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 5-8pm. Ken’s wish was for Lake Tahoe to be his final resting place.
I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.
Arrangements under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home, Everett, WA.
