Oscar Ner Garcia passed away peacefully on October 13, 2016. He was 81 years old. Born in Tanza, Cavite, Philippines on July 4, 1935, Oscar was a Vietnam Veteran who served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1974. Oscar was married to Emelina Rivas for 52 years and has three adult children.
A resident of Everett, WA since 1991, Oscar led a full existence and made countless friends in his lifetime. A simple man with simple aspirations, he loved to fish, sing, socialize with friends and tell stories about his life experiences. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
