

Age 58, of Mukilteo, WA passed away on May 16, 2013. Ron was a long time Washington resident and a long time Alaska commercial fisherman and boat owner. Ron was a highly respected Captain and fisherman, owning and running numerous boats over the years. He was a good Captain to his crew and mentored many young fisherman. He loved the water and the independent lifestyle of being a fisherman was proud to able to provide a good living for his family and the lifestyle he enjoyed. Ron will be remembered as a strong, loving, generous, companion, mentor and caring friend who was always there for his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor, and those who knew him and loved him could rely on his strength and help to be there when needed. We have been privileged to know such a great man and friend. He will always live on in our hearts, our memories and through the life lessons we learned from him. We can take comfort in knowing that, "Precious in the sight of the Lord," as another one of His children, whom has entered into His Eternal Presence (Psalm 116:15). A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 30th at the First Baptist Church of Martha Lake, 17319 Larch Way, Lynnwood, WA 98037.
