Sarah May "Sally" Petersen passed away August 30th, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Sally was born Oct. 12, 1934 in Leechburg, Pennsylvania to Bill and Gladys Campbell. The family moved to Bothell, Washington in 1942. Where Sally attended PS 101, a one room school and graduated from Bothell High School in 1952.
Moving to Everett in 1954, she met and married Carrol "Pete" Petersen and raised three children; Bill (Mary) Benson, Mike (Karen) Petersen, and Kathy Pranger.
Sally leaves behind her loving sister, Delores Anderson; grandchildren, Brandi, Michael, Alex, Eric, Matthew, Maxwell, and Sam; niece, Sarah; great grandchildren, Christopher and Marlie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Sally was hardworking and patriotic, a devoted mother, wife, sister and friend.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
