Susan Soterhou was born on November 24, 1943 to Parents Arthur and Genevive Dwyer in Minneapolis Minnesota, she passed away on December 3, 2010 at home in Snohomish Washington with her family by her side. Susan was the second of seven siblings and attended Chief Sealth High in Seattle Washington where she graduated in 1962. Her career life after High School was working at Seattle First National Bank where she started as a file clerk and gradually worked her way up to Assistant Vice President / Manager of Corporate Trust in 1980. She then retired to be a stay at home mother to her three children. Her children were the joy of her life…this was her greatest accomplishment! She was involved in and volunteered in Boy Scouts, Baseball, Football, Soccer and 4-H. Her proudest moments of her life were when her sons Jess and Randy were awarded their Eagle Scout and when her daughter Patricia graduated from the University of Washington.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother Robert in 1972. She is survived by her beloved husband Terry; daughter Patricia; sons Jess and Randy; four grandchildren; brothers Arthur Dwyer, Richard Dwyer and William Dwyer; and sisters Joan White and Jill Brown. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway in Everett. A graveside service will follow the celebration at 1:00pm at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way in Everett. The family would like to invite everyone to join them at Evergreen Funeral Home following the services for a reception and time of remembrance.
