Vera Ilene Miller

13 August, 19304 February, 2020

Vera dear wife, Mother Grandmother Great grandmother passed away February 4, 2020. She was born August 13,1930 and married August 4, 1950. She leaves her devoted husband John of 69 years. Her two daughters Linda and Sandra. Five grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. In addition she leaves her older sister Joann and little brother Roger. She had a quiet strong unassuming faith in her God. John said recently "she taught me everything I need to know about the Lord". As her Great grandson Preston said she was the glue to our family. She was the family prayer warrior. Her family was what she lived for. She recently said "I was put on this earth to love". Besides family, she loved her Seahawks, skittles, Mariners and golf. She and her husband wore matching Seahawk Mariner gear during game days and would pull both of their chairs up to the tv. John built her a small beauty shop onto their house where she could work from home. She started a collection of turtle figurines on their travels. Often receiving them as gifts especially from her grandchildren. There were always chocolate chip cookies at the house or being dropped off for the grandkids. Camping then trips to Palm Springs and golf became their passion. Above all else Vera loved her family and set the bar on what unconditional love looks like. May she rest in the peace that passes all understanding.

If you wish you can make a memorial in her name to Children's hospital.
