Beecher S. Lofton, Jr. was born in Dallas, Texas on September 4, 1933 to the union of Beecher Lofton, Sr. and Virginia Belton. He graduated Booker T. Washington High School.
He worked over 30 years for Coca Cola, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper Bottling Companies, later retiring to live in California.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lavada Lofton, brother, Cecil Lofton, and sister, Gloria Hopkins. He leaves to cherish his memory sisters, Blanche Battles (Issac), and Hattie Alford (Carl); sons Beecher Lofton III (Gloria), Cecil Lofton (Cheree’), Wendell Lofton, and Wilbur Lofton; daughters Eva Lofton-Cooper (Kenneth), Sondra Clark (Larry), Gwendolyn Saiya (Richard), and Tonya Lofton; a very special friend Maria Pierce; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.

Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:00 am, Mount Vernon Memorial Park and Mortuary in Fair Oaks, CA.
