Betty Doris Baugham was born on August 23, 1929 to Odus and Lillian Hayes in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. She passed away on October 22, 2015 at her home in Rancho Cordova where she lived for 44 years. She was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Grady Baugham, who passed away on February 7, 2015. Son Gary Wayne Baugham, also precedes her in death.
Betty’s husband joined the Air Force in 1950 and was stationed in Korea, Labrador Canada, France, England, Alaska, and numerous places in the United States. The Family got to go with him to France and lived there for three years.
Betty worked at AAFES stores for about 20 years and then at Five Star for numerous years. Betty was passionate about bowling, she was in bowling leagues up to about a year ago. She also loved to take trips to Las Vegas and to Hawaii.
Betty is survived by her sons Rickey Floyd Baugham and his wife Bonnie; Ronald Alan Baugham and his wife Marissa; and daughter Debbie Ann Jenkins and her husband Bill DeLapp. Three granddaughters Sara Marie Hollars, Christine Nicole Jenkins, Jennifer Lynn Baugham, one grandson Justen Allen Baugham and one great grandson Ayden Michael Smith also survives her.
She will be missed by all and in our memories forever and ever
