My most sincerest condolences to all of Mr. Clarys' family.   He and my Father worked together as Park Rangers for many years at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area.  He was also my Boy Scout Master in Troop 134.  He was a kind, and generous gentle giant, as were many of that generation.  I count him as one of the three men in my life who had major influence on my life.  My Dad (Lee Johnson), Bill and my USN Commanding Officer Ralph Fellis.  Your loved one is remembered by me almost daily as I pass the residence he use to live in off of Natoma St. When I drive out Santa Juanita Ave, or Salmon Falls road, I am instantly transported back to the many camping adventures, the lessons of life, of living and surviving. I learned so much from this incredible person and I know he will be greatly missed by all, but please know that there are still many of us around who grew into fairly decent men because of the kind of person he was, and his memory will live on for many, many years, because of the many lives he touched.  Wouldn't be at all surprised to know that Bill, my Dad, Ed Mitchell, Walt Grows and the many others who worked with your loved one, are probably right now in Park Heaven, leading nature hikes, sing a longs and just being GENTLE GIANTS...May God Bless all of his family, he will be missed, but forever remembered.
