David was born at Beale AFB on July 9, 1967 and went to school in Fair Oaks, CA. He spent more than 15 years being an IT Recruiter and loved working with computers and building networks. David greatest joy was his children, he was the loving father to Justin Turrell (22 – USMC LnCpl), Gunnar Turrell (15) and stepfather to Joseph Hayden (34), Christopher Hayden (30) and Madalyn Aust (20). He taught all of the boys what it meant to be true gentlemen and all of them to be hunters, fishermen, hikers and lovers of anything outdoor. He also taught them to stand-up for themselves and our Nation. David is also survived by his wife Maree Turrell and their 7 grandchildren, Mackenzie (14), Reilly (13), Andrew (13), Nathaniel (11), Emma (10), Brandon (6) and Eoin (5); as well as his parents Wayne and Bess Turrell (Orangevale, CA) and brothers Loring Turrell (Grass Valley, CA) and Chris Turrell (US Army SFC - Concord, CA).
Memorial service will be held next spring, when his son graduates from USMC Air Crew school.
