Passed away in his home in Antelope at the age of 69. A native Californian, he was gifted to William and Lois Chislett and sister, Wilma on January 12, 1947. He grew up in Compton and is preceded with rich family history in Long Beach and the Sacramento Valley.
At age 18 he joined the USAF and enjoyed a colorful career serving in the Pacific, Vietnam, Alaska and Europe. After 25 years he retired from McClellan AFB and settled with his family in nearby Antelope. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan, his son Jack, his daughter LaShena and grandson Nicolas.
He takes a piece of our hearts that will never mend, but leaves behind beautiful memories of family and friends and a world with him in it. We will miss sharing his love and his joy in each new day.
A Memorial Service will be held April 22nd, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at The Sacramento National Valley Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California 95620
