Florence went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 31st 2017. Born Jan 31st 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri. She will always be remembered for her strong faith and in her final years handing out tracts that said “You’re Special” on the front. She would say “I want you to have this, it tells you about Jesus”. She taught in Child Evangelism, Pioneer Girls, and Sunday School classes. She had a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to do something fun.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold V. Sexson, and her husband of 17 years Eugene Gilson.
She is survived by her son Harold Sexson (Glee), daughter Sharon Miranda (Michael), grandchildren Alethea, William, & Shauna, great grandchildren Kylie, Isabelle, Abagail, Austin and Riley. All of which she loved and prayed for every day.
Her legacy of faith will live on to all those who knew her.
