Gregory Christopher Durand was born to Alice Durand and Gregory Durand Sr in El Centro , CA on April 16 1950. Greg was the oldest of four brothers Mike Jim and Eugene Durand. Greg was a loving husband father and Poppa to: his soul mate Julia Durand father to Elisa and Jesse Durand and Julian Philyaw Sullivan, grandfather to 6 grandchildren Deandre, Julisa, Jovian, Arthur Jr, Mariah and Jesse and one great grandson Andre.....
Greg was always a hard worker starting at 15 and worked many places including abby medical where he met his wife . His last job was at Capital Wholesale Electric which he enjoyed working side by side with his son Jesse and his grandson Dre for a summer. Greg retired in 2010.
Greg loved listening to music and anytime you came to his house there was something playing . He was very close to his kids and grandkids who called him poppa and his house was their second home. He taught his sons and grandsons to work with tools and could fix or build anything.
Greg was a loving and caring person who would do anything for the people he loved and he will be truly missed.
