James Duren Spickard came into this world October 15, 1950. He entered into eternal life on Sunday December 30, 2012. He is survived by his wife Beth Ann Spickard, son Richard Q. Spickard and wife Becky Spickard, daughter Kaysee Kirby and husband Roosevelt Kirby and daughter Erin Spickard, 6 grandchildren Alex, Joseph, Xavier, Maycee, Luke, Emelia, and Avenlee on the way. His mother Ida May Spickard and brother Richard M. Spickard and wife Charlotte. And of course his best friend on 4 legs, Bobby. He was loved by so many, a local auto shop owner for 27 years, a active member in Alcoholics Anonymous and an Army Vietnam veteran. He touched many lives and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or the Sacramento SPCA. A Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Monday, January 7, 2013. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Both services will take place at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln. Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
