Jimmie Sue Rossi, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2011. She was 84. She was born April 17, 1927 in Crossville, Alabama to James Creed Clayton and Ola Mae Clayton. She was the youngest of three daughters. She and her husband, Frank Rossi, were happily married for more than 65 years and have lived in Fair Oaks, California since 1965. She was a devout Christian, a long time volunteer at Mercy San Juan Hospital, and loved spending time in her rose garden. Jimmie Sue Rossi was the definition of beauty and grace both inside and out. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Frank, daughter Cindy Scalia and son Randy Rossi. She is also survived by her sister, Marian Dobbins, and her four grandchildren, Tiffany and Todd Scalia, and Justin and Lauren Rossi. A memorial service will be held at the Fair Oaks Presbyterian chapel on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00am.
