Kathleen Delena Roselle

Kathleen D. Roselle passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 81 in her home in Roseville, California. She was attended by her daughter Cynthia, son-in-law Vincent and nephew Robert Davis. Kathleen had entered hospice care following complications and a long challenge with COPD.

Born in Derby, Colorado in 1944, she was the youngest of four children of Francis X. and Patricia J. Schweppe. Kathleen, aka, Teena, spent much of her youth moving with her family from one construction site to another to accommodate her father’s work as a carpenter. As a teenager this took her to East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), where she lived on the Karnaphuli River Dam project for five years. The impact of this experience and the friendships she formed there lasted a lifetime. Kathleen enjoyed an enduring friendship of over 50 years with Elaine Dotson, Judy McCormick, and Carol Skillner.

Kathleen was an innovative and creative individual. Kathleen was a business owner for several decades, in the automotive customizing industry, first in Detroit, Michigan, and later in Sacramento, California. She trailblazed a place for women in what was traditionally a male centered industry. She was a pioneer in this field. Her determination and magnetism drew others to her.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband William Roselle, her husband William Sheetz, her parents Francis X. and Patrica J. Schweppe, her beloved brother Jerry Schweppe, and her beloved sister Barbara Davis. She is survived by her brother Tom Schweppe, her daughter Cynthia Hron (Vince), her grandsons Ethan Hron and Izac Hron, Robert Davis (nephew), Vicky West (niece), and several other cousins, nieces and nephews. Kathleen was blessed with extended family including stepchildren, their spouses, and step-grandchildren whose time together she valued greatly.

Kathleen will be interned at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park, Orangevale, California. Services are private. Kathleen was a supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, in lieu of flowers please consider a gift in her name.
