I knew LeNai from time together on the San Francisco Bay Area Disaster Medical Assistance Team and I think she was just as passionate about that work as she was about all aspects of her nursing career  and all of her volunteer endeavors.   The video tribute is absolutely beautiful and what is clear is the love she had for family and friends and how the love was returned.   So Beautiful!
I’m so sorry for your loss and hope that her life well lived and full of adventures holds wonderful and lasting memories for you.   
My apologies for being unable to attend the Celebration Of Life but I’d like to offer heartfelt condolences and love to her family and friends.  


LeNai and I were friends for 35 years...not too many friendships last that long anymore. Some of my dearest memories are the road trips she and I took through the years...they are very precious memories...they gave us some deeply personal alone time with one another. We laughed ourselves silly, reminisced, and shed more than a few tears. A favorite "girls" trip was with Patty and JoAnne to Mt. Shasta...what a great weekend we had! LeNai and I shared our love for raising sons...We both loved our boys and each other's.  She was an excellent nurse and a fierce advocate for her patients, she cared about them deeply and lived the Hippocratic Oath like no other.
And ok, sometimes she could be a little overwhelming and obnoxious, let's be honest! But there was no truer or more loyal friend. It was a precious friendship. I will miss you my dearest friend and continue to love you until the end of time.
