I am deeply saddened to hear the passing of Marilyn Prehm through the internet. I have worked with Ms Prehm in the Gambia in late 1990s and then we still kept in touch when I moved here to the United States and in fact I paid her a visit two times in Sacramento. She was very caring thoughtful and inspiring and a great friend. 

May her soul rest in perfect peace.

Marilyn and I were best friends during our high school years at Aberdeen, Washington and as roommates at BYU. She was a rock solid person that I could depend upon. She taught me how to be generous by example. I'm sorry her later years have been clouded with so much grief. We were good friends in our youth and will be again in the next life, I am sure. I am grateful to have known her.
