

She is survived by her devoted children, Shirley Tucciarelli and her husband Tony, James Martin, and Pamela Roberts; adoring grandchildren Kenneth, Dario and his children Nichole and Ian and his granddaughter Natalie, Mario and his wife Theresa and their children Jessica and Nicholas, Cerrina and her husband Aaron and children Markus and Ciana, John and his wife Tracy and their children Brennan, Michael and Erin, Chad and his children Kayla and Savannah, Andrew and his wife Jennifer and children John and Tess, Adrienne and her husband Tarek, Amber and her husband Kevin and son Kalijah, Audrey and her children Angelina, Lilliana and Johnny, Amanda and her children Thomas, Tyler, Leillani and Taylor, Ashley and her son Aiden, and Rachel and her daughter Alexa. She was preceded in Heaven by her parents Carlos and Juana, older brother Augie, daughter in law Cheri Martin, her first grandchild Tony Tucciarelli Jr, his son Anthony Tucciarelli, III, and many of her lifelong galpals, as well as several pets including her beloved cats Freckles and Pepper.
Nellie was the treasured matriarch of a very large extended family that includes many friends and fellow Camellia City 500 Club members. Nellie moved from San Francisco to the Bay Area Peninsula in the 1960’s where she retired after 36 years of service to the F.W. Woolworth Company. She later moved to the Sacramento area to be near her son and his family, and spent the last 15 years as an active and popular member of the Vintage Woods Senior Community in Fair Oaks, CA.
Nellie’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2015 with a public viewing from 11:30am – 12:30pm and a service at 1pm officiated by Pastor Dan Wade, immediately followed by an onsite Celebration of Life reception at Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA, 95628. She will later be buried in a private family ceremony at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma, California.
Nellie was an avid animal lover and donated regularly to the ASPCA. She was also a breast cancer survivor who supported Susan G. Komen. Honorary donations to these, or your own favorite, charities are welcome and appreciated in lieu of flowers.
